As I'm spinning my pen, I start to feel a sudden medium sharp pain in my wrist, it will go away for a moment then come back, is this normal when spinning?

Nope you're going to die in a couple of days.

Nope, pain is never normal! Even without the specifics about the pain, I'd say you should still stop spinning completely for about 2 to 3 days (this may be hard to do, but spinning will probably make your pain even worse and last longer). If the pain just doesn't go away or if it comes back when you resume spinning, then see a doctor to get an official diagnosis and help. Could be carpal tunnel, especially if the sharp pain is accompanied with numbness or tingling or it spreads to the hand. But we don't really know, and I am not a doctor

I think it's fairly common to experience slight and short-lived pain in joints, don't need too assume that it's carpal tunnel with this few details. on the website of a company specializing in orthopedic surgeries I saw a list of possible causes of wristpain. they had listed 8 common causes and only one of them was carpal tunnel.

I think you should talk to a doctor or such if it lasts for more than a day or two, if the pain increases or if your flexibility is restricted. in the meantime, as @Green Caffeine suggested, taking a break from penspinning and other activities that put strain on your wrist is a good idea. keep in mind that penspinning may not be what caused the pain.

and I'm not a doctor and not very knowledgeable in healthcare either
