    Van has graciously volunteered to help organize UPSB to enter PWT.

    Before entering, be sure to read the rules and schedule from Mr.LSC's thread here or the official website here.

    A maximum of 10 spinners can participate from a single board. If you are interested, please comment "/in" below. Then, submit a combo to @Van before the deadline 2/28. Please use a file hosting site to send the video, instead of uploading to a video site. If there are more than 10 spinners who wish to join, Van will choose the best 10 combos to submit to the group stage.

    These competitions don't happen very often and are a very good chance for experience. I would encourage any up and coming spinners to participate!

    It would also be advisable for participants to provide an alternative way to contact with the manager so things would go smoother. (email, skype, discord, etc.)

    Dary --> awesome =O

    /in and sent g3 mod + left hand holding cam combo (i'll withdraw if UPSB has 10 half-decent or better submissions, other spinners can have the experience perhaps)

    focus/direction of combos for this tournament will probably be different than usual WT/WC, doubt I'll get past pool stage with my level -100 refinement kek.

    LOL I got kicked out of RF because I painted a box the symbol of the Japanese rising sun (posted on instagram) and the Korean team took it so personally.

    First of all, thanks for considering me a promising newcomer, even though I´m not sure whether I´ve deserved such a title or not :s
    I don´t really understand the idea of especially asking for new spinners to participate in this Tournament, however. Sure, the spinners you´ve tagged have proven to be fast learners, willing to improve and work on every aspect of their spinning, all fine and well, but none of them (myself included of course) are anywhere close to being viable options for a worldwide Tournament.
    I get that you want to encourage newcomers to develop themselves even further through such an event, give it all we got, come up with new tricks and linkings and all that, and also, if nothing else, experience the atmosphere and pressure of such a tournament. And yeah, that´s a good thing I guess.
    But still, even wit all that personal growth and development assured, I doubt any of us would make it past R1. In the worst case, that would lead to the opposite of what was supposed to happen, with the newcomers feeling discouraged and disappointed, even though they never really had a chance of making it far to begin with. In the best case scenario, UPSB would "only" have wasted a lot of spots (or whatever they´re called) on "undeveloped" spinners, instead of encouraging older, probably less active spinners of this board, to get their sh*t together and try their luck in a tournament for once. Which is what should be happening, in my opinion.

    tldr: I can´t believe UPSB has so little activity that PWT spots have to be wasted on V5ers who will be eliminated in R1.

    Let the new spinners do their share of growing and improving, before they enter any worldwide events. Menowa didn´t join WT until ´15, even though he already was a legend at that point :3
